
MIROSŁAW BABIARZ
In his career as a strength and conditioning specialist, Miroslaw worked with thousands of athletes from around the world at every level (UFC, NBA, NFL, MLS, MLB. NCAA, etc.). He is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia where he obtained a Master’s degree in Kinesiology. His master’s thesis focused on the effects of caffeine use among athletes. He gained most of his experience in the USA where he studied and worked for nearly 15 years. He began his coaching career as a Strength and Conditioning Assistant at Mercer County College in New Jersey, where he worked with the following sports: soccer (men and women), basketball (men and women), baseball, tennis (men and women) and softball. His next stop was at Temple University in Philadelphia where he worked as a Strength and Conditiong Assistant for the Olympic Sports. During this period, he trained over 400 athletes from 16 sports such as: track and field (men and women), basketball (men and women), soccer(men and women), women’s volleyball, baseball, tennis, (men and women) ), golf (men and women), rowing (men and women), cross-country running (men and women), softball, women’s field hockey, women’s lacrosse and gymnastics (men and women). In the following years he became the Director of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Redlands in California, where he was responsible for 21 sports teams and 11 employees as the Fitness Center Director. In total, over 500 athletes where in addition to the above-mentioned sports (in the case of the Temple University) he also coached: American football, swimming (men and women), diving (men and women), water polo (men and women). In 2015 he returned to Poland, co-founded SCEC and since then deals with the individual preparation of athletes as well as the promotion and teaching of physical training in Poland. Recently, he was responsible, among others, for the preparation of UFC Champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk. His certifications include: – NSCA -CSCS – Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist – NASM – PES – Performance Enhancement Specialist, – USAW – United States Weightlifting Federation – Sports Performance Coach.
